Domestic stock markets rose last Friday. The BSE Sensex rose 84 points, while the NSE Nifty gained 31 points. Amid the volatility, investors bought select stocks. Consequently, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose 84.11 points, or 0.10%, to close at 84,562.78. During trading, it had risen to 84,697.87 points. The 50-share NSE Nifty also gained 30.90 points, or 0.12%, to close at 25,910.05.


Among the Sensex companies, Eternal, BEL, Trent, Axis Bank, SBI, Bajaj Finance, and Sun Pharma were the biggest gainers. Eternal's shares rose 1.97%. On the other hand, shares of Infosys, TMPV, Tata Steel, ICICI Bank and Tech Mahindra declined.

Buying seen in these shares

Stocks seeing strong buying include Ipca Labs, Transformers & Rectifiers, Muthoot Finance, HBL Power, Jubilant Food, Bharat Dynamics, and Sagility India. These stocks have surpassed their 52-week highs, indicating a bullish bias.

Signs of recession in these stocks

The MACD has indicated a bearish bias for Premier Energies, Advent Hotels International, DB Realty, Sonata Software, Gujarat Mineral Development, Apollo Tires, and Supreme Industries. This means these stocks are now in a downtrend.
