Actor Allu Arjun's much-awaited film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' will be released in theaters on August 15th. On the occasion of the actor's birthday on April 8, the makers released a 60-second excerpt from the film to celebrate Allu Arjun's birthday. In the video, Allu Arjun can be seen donning the avatar of Goddess Mahankali and fighting against the goons. Some still images from the scene were previously released.
The Pushpa films are expected to be expanded into a trilogy, but the makers have not confirmed whether there will be a third installment. The film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandana. The first part, released in 2021, became one of the year's biggest blockbusters. The film was released in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The Hindi version of the film was a huge hit and increased Allu Arjun's popularity across India. The film earned him the National Film Award for Best Actor.
According to media consulting firm Ormax Media, the Hindi version of Pushpa 2: The Rules is one of the most awaited Hindi films.
n Pushpa: The Rise, Allu Arjun plays Pushpa, a Red Thunder smuggler who strives to reach the top of the smuggling organization. Fahadh Faasil plays the villainous police chief Bhanwar Singh Shekhwat, while Rashmika plays Pushpa's wife Srivari. Pushpa: The Rise ends with Pushpa confronting Bhanwar Singh Shekhwat and humiliating him. The climax promises an epic showdown between his two characters in the sequel.
Pushpa series is directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
